cutoffs: insomnia breeds a beast that chews off all my trouser legs.
button-up shirt - american eagle, shorts - rag+bone (re-cut), tennis shoes - keds |
there's something really fantastic about making a pair of cutoffs. the process requires minimal skill and commitment, but the results are drastic; loving instant gratification.
3am, day of intern orientation retreat: after several sleepless hours spent staring at the ceiling, i resign myself to the fact that some nights just aren't meant for sleeping. spent the next three hours cropping and recropping an old pair of rag+bone jeans into a pair of shorts. removed the yoke, darted the back, replaced patch with welt pockets, hand-frayed the hem. nothing says i'm going to the country quite like trailer trash couture.
