this gray morning, i filled out the forms and got a tour of the allsaints store. clothing allowance shopping spree was facilitated by store stylist, bryan, and walked away with a blazer, chambray shirt, striped tee, navy shorts, and sick boots. i move into my new room tomorrow, i start next week.

deciding to stay in turns into going to johnny rile's turns into sweet revenge, ditching him with married men, after party at sunrise. brunch at black swan, mimosas, fried chicken and lemon waffles, dressed in yesterday's leftovers.

spent the day formatting and laying out scans of peter's sketches for his presentation to the tommy hilfiger office in amsterdam later this week. got thumbs up from elana (ceo) on the redesigned shoe-collaboration press kit. also scored some sweet textiles from the swatch bin, including fusible interfacing, eye-searingly hot-pink mini-sequined jersey, and a huge piece of paper-thin baby-blue python. what to do with it all...still brainstorming...

death and reunions

nick on the highline, taja by coincidence, chugging modelo on a stoop. alice and mariama at a motel midtown, getting magnums of cheap pinot grigio delivered. noise complaints, relocating to upper east side, poland springs and pellegrino fuels all-night bender, misplaced bathroom mirrors, laying on the roof deliriously staring into the rain at 5am. passed out. 

bacon, egg and parm on an english muffin for breakfast at 2pm, watching downton abbey til naptime, lost on lexington avenue in a sea of private school uniforms. tomorrow, peter som. saturday, second-round interview with rag & bone.

tromped down literally every street in soho and meatpacking, handing out resumes and meeting store managers. got denied at pastis, but landed two interviews: one with rag & bone tomorrow and one with all saints next wednesday. apparently when applying to hip eateries and edgy boutiques, the regulated dresscode is fashionably homeless; somehow i seem to have missed the memo.
