rash decisions regarding clippers

yesterday, while entering peter som's first week sales reports for bergdorfs, saks, and neiman marcus, impulsively decided on gchat that i was going to hack off all my hair, recruited peter to do it. so last night, somewhere between deliveries and linares and alexin's arrival, we went at it with gardening shears and walmart clippers, and cropped it all off.

rough night in the big city.

since 28 january, i have dropped off samples, picked up samples, purchased gloves, yarn, zippers, buttons, and swatches, taken more cabs than humanly imaginable, snapped hundreds of kodaks of models in hundreds of combinations of the same hundred pieces of clothing, eaten too much string cheese, drunk too many forties, seen too many naked girls, handled too many pairs of pumps and booties and insoles and, experienced the chaos backstage at lincoln center, and have never enjoyed myself more.
